School Overview

Namaste Charter School is a nonprofit public charter school on Chicago’s South Side that believes healthy, active, and supported children achieve more in the classroom. We provide rigorous, differentiated academics in a nurturing environment where every child is challenged to grow and succeed. Our whole-child model includes daily physical education, healthy meals, recess, dual language instruction, and enriching programs before, during, and after school. We are also committed to developing young leaders through student voice, service, and leadership opportunities that help students recognize their potential to lead in the classroom, in their community, and beyond. Namaste provides a strong pathway to success with personalized support for selective enrollment high school placement, private school scholarships, and long-term college and career readiness through our Alumni Board.
