CPS All-City HS Visual Arts Exhibition Open Through April 11

Student drawings, sculptures, paintings and more are just some of the artwork on display at the annual All-City High School Visual Arts Exhibition which kicked-off Wednesday, March 21.

Student drawings, sculptures, paintings and more are just some of the artwork on display at the annual All-City High School Visual Arts Exhibition which kicked-off Wednesday, March 21.

More than 180 students from over 30 CPS high schools showcased their work at the opening reception. The exhibition features student work from a variety of art forms including drawings, paintings, sculptures, textiles, metalwork, video, audio media projects and more.

The free exhibit is open to the public through April 11 at Expo 72, located at 72 E. Randolph St.

In partnership with the City of Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, the three-week exhibition provided students will a unique opportunity to present their creativity and achievements in visual arts to the public in gallery space in the Loop.
