Kick Off to Kindergarten & Preview to Pre-K

Kick Off to Kindergarten and Preview to Pre-K programs give students a chance to learn, grow, and make new friends before school begins on August, 18, 2025. Both programs help students acclimate to their CPS classroom and to their CPS school prior to the start of the school year.

Kick Off to Kindergarten (5 year olds)

 June 30 to July 24, 2025

Kick Off to Kindergarten is a free summer program for students who will be in Kindergarten (turning 5 years old before September 1, 2025) in the 2025-2026 School Year. This program will focus on early literacy, early math, and social-emotional skills.

Kick Off to Kindergarten is a five hour program that runs for four weeks and meets Monday through Thursday. The program is available at select schools. Students are only eligible to attend Summer 2025 Kick Off to Kindergarten at the school where they are enrolled to attend Kindergarten in School Year 2025 - 2026.

Preview to Pre-K (3 and 4 year olds)

 June 30 to July 24, 2025

Preview to Pre-K is a five hour program that runs for four weeks and meets Monday through Thursday. The program is available at select schools. Students are only eligible to attend Summer 2025 Preview to Pre-K at the school where they are enrolled to attend preschool in School Year 2025 - 2026. Students in their first or second year of preschool are eligible to attend.
